Check the settings for each calendar you have set in the project, verify that all resources are assigned to the correct calendar, and see that you have marked holidays for each month in the calendar range. Look at the range to see if any dates in the project’s schedule are outside the years it covers; if necessary, extend the calendar range to include those dates and mark any holidays in the months just added to the range.

Look for any lag time, which is displayed on the dependency lines between task boxes in the Schedule Chart. Lag time affects the schedule, but the lag time itself is not displayed anywhere else in the project data.
See if any negative slack has been introduced by dates you set for one or more tasks. Use Show Attributes from the Layout menu to display slack time in the Schedule Chart, consult the Slack column in the Project Table, or use a search formula to find all negative slack.
